Share your inner light

How Bright is Your Light

October 30, 20242 min read

Your personal energy, your light, is the clearest indication to everyone you meet about how you feel about your life. Are you energized and enthusiastic, or are you merely going through the motions day by day? Do you infuse energy and light wherever you go, or do you unintentionally dim the atmosphere when you enter a room?

Life should be a tapestry of exciting new adventures and limitless opportunities.  Remember, these are not just monumental experiences like conquering Mount Everest or diving on the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Opportunities for new adventures surround you every day. Consider that new restaurant that just opened in town, the work project that needs a passionate team leader, or volunteering your time at a local shelter or at your church, synagogue, or mosque. Imaging the joy of coaching a little league or soccer team. The list is endless, just waiting for you to explore.

The point is that there are a wide variety of opportunities all around you if you just keep your eyes, ears and heart open to them. This openness is the source of your inner light. Your light flourishes when your mind and heart work in harmony, embracing life’s possibilities and showing others that you genuinely care. It shines most brightly when you’re engaged in helping others, and dims when your focus turns solely inward.

So, I ask you one more time, how bright is your light? If you are not illuminating your surroundings with positivity and energy, I challenge you to find a cause you are passionate about, something that ignites both your heart and your mind. Not only do you owe it not only to yourself, but you owe it to the world to share your knowledge and your passion. By doing so, you’ll find yourself happier, more fulfilled, and you’ll leave everyone you meet basking in the glow of your inner light.

It’s your life, it’s your light – so commit to making it as vibrant and impactful as possible, each and every day.
